The Basic 8 techniques of Tai Chi movements

Before learning any form of Tai Chi, it is best to get accustom with some basic moves, steps and weight distribution. For beginner, this helps the student to get to know his or her own body’s feel and balance.

Technique 7th is sometimes refer to grasping a tail of a peacock攬雀尾 and the last technique (8th) is the cross hand十字手 prior to finish. Both of these movements are shown below:
